Garlic Encrusted Pork Chops


  • 2 Center Cut Pork Chops
  • 4 tsp Garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 tsp Black Pepper, fresh ground
  • 2 Tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil                       


Preheat oven to 400˚ (204 Celsius – 375 Convection).

Make two slices through the fat of each pork chop. On each side of each pork chop sprinkle ½ tsp sea salt and pepper and 1 tsp garlic – pat firmly into the meat. Let it rest while you heat fry pan to medium high heat. Once the pan is hot add the 2 Tbs of olive oil to pan. Place pork chops in pan and sear for 1 ½ to 2 minutes per side.

Transfer from fry pan to baking dish with meat rack. Bake in preheated oven for 35 – 45 minutes.
